The Opportunity

Our North Ryde aged care facility provides safe, comfortable accommodation and around-the-clock care for up to 78 people.

We are currently seeking Assistants in Nursing (AIN) to operate over our 24/7 rotating roster. We have a variety of Morning, Afternoon and Night Duty Shifts available.

As an AIN, you will assist residents with daily living and deliver personal care that meets the needs of each individual. You will apply New Horizons core values, policies and procedures to maximise the health, well-being and independence for our residents.

Skill and Experience:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent;
  • Previous experience as an AIN will be highly regarded;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Experience distributing and administering medication will be highly regarded;
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold a current valid working visa for Australia.
  • Willingness to obtain an Australian Federal Police Check, WWCC and first aid certificate that meet New Horizons employment criteria prior to commencing with us.
