The Opportunity

We’re looking for experienced Behaviour Support Clinicians to deliver practical plans and support for our customers. You’ll be an important part of our company and ensure a high standard of quality support is delivered to our customers.

Working from our Guildford and Miller offices, you will support teams within the Greater Sydney Region. It is a full time maximum term opportunity for 6 months.  

You will report to the Clinical Manager in our Specialist and Advisory Customer Segment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide assessments, consultation and therapeutic interventions to customers
  • Oversee the development of individual and behavioural risk management plans
  • Write and update behaviour support plans
  • Train and support staff
  • Provide expert clinical advice to a variety of stakeholders
  • Promote and empower independence

 

Skill and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar clinical position
  • Experience working with people who engage in offending behaviour will be highly regarded
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for the sector and supporting vulnerable people
  • Technical literacy with proven ability to use Microsoft Office and systems for reporting
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Own transport and willingness to travel
  • Willingness to obtain an Australian Federal Police Check, WWCC and first aid certificate that meet New Horizons employment criteria prior to commencing with us
  • Experience in delivering training to teams to deliver individual therapeutic interventions will be an advantage.
